As teachers, we are continually urged to develop meaningful lesson plans and pedagogical skills to enhance student learning. But how do our subtle and not so subtle thoughts, beliefs and actions effect the impact our students’ learning – both academically and otherwise? How does this affect us? We are often so busy staying caught up with the myriad of responsibilities we have as educators, we forget to pause and reflect about what is going on inside of us, yet this has a direct and palpable effect on all that we do and all those we are in contact with. In this fun, engaging, inspirational experiential workshop, we will take some time to explore what it means to "teach who we are" and how to "teach from our heart" through interactive activities, reflection and discussion!
